The tragedy of the 80’s and 90’s America that we lost is beyond measure.
It was an iconic American time period.
A generation of “War Hero’s,” whose parents were true heroes of World War II. New technology mixed with all the classic old stuff. It was common to discover a black and white TV set in the thrift shop. An hours worth of work could yield enough money to buy a treasure trove of used junk. Clothes could be had by the grocery bag full for .25 cents.
The United States had just enacted globalization, and to deliver a vastly better lifestyle at the cost of enslaving the rest of the world, everything was outsourced en masse. The quality of life peaked here. In reality, Alien visitation probably peaked and immediately began to wane drastically in this period.
But from our perspective now it may as well have never happened. From our reality it is only a memory of a perfectly reconstructed appearance. Those humans were of the absolute highest quality. Workplace efficiency also peaked during this historic time period, as the vast number of experienced individuals were employed in the private sector.
