There’s a new vaccine out today, and it may protect you against blindness for the rest of your life. In order to make the vaccine, scientists take the victims of accidents and smash their eyeballs into a liquid form. This liquid is then cooked up and loaded into syringes to be sold. The syringes are available without a prescription for $1899.
The biggest caveat? The vaccine must be injected directly into the eye. This has a lot of potential customers feeling revolted when they find out. Fortunately for the companies who sell the treatment, many people are willing to do it, and sales are already in the thousands of units.
Common side affects include heart palpitations, mild rash, and permanent loss of vision.
